Chatham………Yvonne Dalton Wells, age 68 of Chatham passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026 at her residence.

Born July 30, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Grady Lee Dalton, Sr. and Lula "Pete" Ramsey Dalton.  She was predeceased by three brothers, Jimmy Dalton, Ronnie Dalton and Junior Dalton.  Mrs. Wells was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church and she retired from Klopman Mills.  She loved shopping, hummingbirds, flowers and crocheting.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Wells of the residence; two daughters, Misty Knowles and husband, C.A. and Jill Parsons and husband, Ben; two sisters, Kathy Dalton and Ramona Robinson; two sisters-in-law, Debbie Dalton and Peggy Dalton; and three grandchildren, Gavin Burton, Summer Parsons and Lainey Parsons.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2026 at Sycamore Baptist Church by Devin Taylor.  Burial will follow in Gretna Burial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2026 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Ben Parsons, 608 Ray Mill Road, Gretna.
