Bedford……….Yvonne Dean Moorefield Bell, age 80 of Bedford formerly of Altavista died Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Bedford County Nursing Home.

Born April 9, 1938 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Giles Moorefield and Lena Clay Moorefield.  Mrs. Bell was also predeceased by her husband, Samuel Irvin Bell; three brothers, Ryland Moorefield, Stuart Moorefield and Alvin Moorefield; and one sister, Ruth Jackson.  She retired from Burlington Industries.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Samuel Dean Bell and wife, Tina of Hurt and Dennis Irvin Bell and wife, Rhonda of Altavista; and three grandchildren, Casey Bell, Ashley Bell and Brandi Bell.

Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Altavista Memorial Park by Rev. Carlton Gunter.

The family suggests memorials contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
