Hurt………John Wyatt Thomasson, age 26 of Hurt died Monday, November 16, 2020 at his residence.

Born June 10, 1994 in Lynchburg, he was a son of Joyce Farthing Thomasson of Hurt, and the late John Frank Thomasson.  He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, John and Gladys Perkins; and his paternal grandmother, Gaenell Thomasson.  Wyatt was a member of Tree of Life Ministries.  He enjoyed gardening, collecting cars, traveling, going on day trips; and he loved technology and making people laugh.

In addition to his mother he is survived by one son, Greyson Thomasson; two daughters, Adaline Thomasson, and Paisley Thomasson; two sisters, April Hill and husband, Stephen of Altavista, and Dana Waller and husband, Lance of Rustburg; his paternal grandfather, Delano Thomasson of Collinsville; and nieces and nephews, Dillon Cash, Damon Hill, Kali Hill, Jake Waller, and Emma Waller.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Pastor Mike Dodson.  Burial will follow in the Tree of Life Cemetery in Altavista.
