Gretna……….William Raleigh Harrison, Jr., age 59 of Gretna died Saturday, October 25, 2014 at his residence.
Born January 31, 1955 in Windsor, NC he was a son of Alice Wymer and her husband William of Gretna and the late William Raleigh Harrison. Mr. Harrison was truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, going to races, and watching westerns.
In addition to his mother and step-father he is survived by a sister, Linda Harrison of Gretna; three nephews, Brian Mattera and wife, Magan, Wesley Mattera and wife, Rena and Anthony Mattera and wife, Carla; and four great-nieces and great-nephews, Oliva Mattera, Peyton Mattera, Madison Mattera, and Reid Mattera.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 27, 2014 at Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden by Rev. Kristen White.
The family will receive friends at the residence of his mother and step-father, Alice and William Wymer, 5121 Piney Road, Gretna.
