Danville……….Wendell Keith Tucker, age 49 of Danville died Thursday, June 19, 2014.
Born May 27, 1965 in Danville he was a son of John Keith Tucker and Jeroline Woodson Tucker of Danville. He was predeceased by grandparents, Perry and Blanche Woodson and Hollins and Berta Tucker. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Danville Ward where he served as Sunday School President, Ward Mission Leader and Assistant Ward Clerk. Mr. Tucker worked for Danville Power and Light for over 27 years. He was a graduate of G.W. High School and held two Associate Degrees from Danville Community College. He loved his children and singing; and spending time on the farm, fishing and hunting.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Arnida Arriola Tucker of the residence; and two sons, Gabriel Tan Tucker and Arnell Keith Tucker of the residence.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 23, 2014 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Bishop Ray Mullins and Rev. R.G. Rowland. Burial will follow in Gretna Burial Park.
The family will receive friends following the service Monday at Greenfield Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
