Hurt………Louis Wayne Clay, age 75 of Hurt died Monday, March 16, 2020 at Autumn Care Nursing and Rehab.

Born November 16, 1944 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Russell Monroe Clay, Sr. and Clara Dodson Clay.  Mr. Clay was an Army Veteran, a member of Edge Hill Baptist Church and a heavy equipment operator.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and his dogs.

He is survived by two brothers, Russell M. Clay, Jr. of Hurt and Glenn Garner Clay and wife, Earleen of Long Island; and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Edge Hill Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastor Joe Cornell.
