Waylon Dalton

Gretna……….Waylon James Dalton, age 31 of 8676 Rockford School Road, Gretna died Saturday, July 14, 2012 in the Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, NC.
Born September 15, 1980 in Danville he was a son of Deborah Younger Dalton and the late Jimmy Edwin Dalton. He was predeceased by a brother, Brandon Scott Dalton. Waylon was a farmer and attended the Gretna Pentecostal Holiness Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his mother he is survived by one son, Jayden Tyler Dalton; one daughter, Chassidy Fielder;; his maternal grandmother, Irene Younger of Gretna; niece and nephews, Lauren Dalton, Taylor Dalton, and Brandon Dalton, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at the Gretna Pentecostal Holiness Church by Pastor Donald Powell and Pastor Paul Parker. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2012 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
