Gretna……….Wayburn Barbour Osborne, age 85 of Gretna passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at her residence.

Born December 14, 1939 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Dennis Lee Barbour and Talmadge Nuckols Barbour.  She was predeceased by her husband, Luther "Jim" Coleman Osborne; and a sister, Nancy Adkins.  Mrs. Osborne was a member of West End Church of Christ and a former clerk with Gretna Drug.  She loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.  She also enjoyed working at the drug store.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Osborne of Gretna and James Osborne and wife, Donna of Gretna; two daughters, Terri Rader and husband, George of Gretna and Jane Keatts of Gretna; one sister, Betty Towler of Gretna; seven grandchildren, Jason Dalton, Joshua Osborne, Lindsey Wells and husband, Matt, Eric Keatts, Megan Osborne and fiancé, Josh Kegley, Jacob Haynes and Allison Waller and husband, Nathan; four great-grandchildren, Aiden, Caleb, Coleman and Luke; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 31, 2025 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Jason Andrews.  Burial will follow in the Osborne Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 31, 2025 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
