Gretna……….Warren Samuel Worley, age 61 of Gretna, died Saturday, January 29, 2011 at his residence.
Born October 7, 1949 in Pittsylvania County , he was a son of Lillian (Sue) Lumpkins Brumfield of Altavista and the late, Henry C. Worley. He was predeceased by a son, Billy Joe Worley and a brother, Henry C. Worley, Jr. Warren was a retired employee of Schrader-Bridgeport International and was an Army veteran of Vietnam. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding horses.
He is survived by his daughter, Brandy Pickral of Gretna; one brother, Edward Worley and wife, Janie of Gretna; 4 grandchildren, Samuel Pickral, Preston Pickral, Braydon Pickral, and Payton Pickral.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Dennis Tucker. Burial will follow in Weatherford Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
