Pittsville……Wanda Joyce Whorley Brown, age 63 of Pittsville died Thursday, March 18, 2021 at her residence.

Born September 15, 1957 in Martinsville, she was a daughter of the late Marvin Lee Whorley and Martha Louise Richardson Whorley.  She was predeceased by one sister, Margie Lee Whorley.  Mrs. Brown was a clerk and she loved spending time with her family and her cat, Jellybean.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Steven Brown of the residence; one daughter, Amanda Perdue and husband, Chris of Pittsville; one son, Stevie Brown and significant other, Denise Noethiger of Rocky Mount; two sisters, Loretta Sloan and husband, Jimmy of Ferrum, and Freda Mullins and husband, Billy of Ferrum; one brother, Timmy George and wife, Barbara of Ferrum; five grandchildren, Blake, Austin, Gabriel, Alex, and Ryan; and one great-grandson, Ryder.

Per her request there will be no public service.
