Hurt……Virginia Fisher Anderson, age 74 of Hurt formerly of Nathalie died Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born July 28, 1944 in Halifax County, she was a daughter of the late Onie Fisher and Iva Dejarnette Stephens.  She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Janet Lea Jackson.  Virginia was of the Baptist Faith and she was a seamstress.  She enjoyed gardening, jigsaw puzzles, watching old western movies, and helping people any way that she could.  She also enjoyed feeding and watching birds, especially Humming birds.

She is survived by one son, Raymond Jackson and wife, Elizabeth; one daughter, Diana Sexton; ten grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Clover Bottom Baptist Church Cemetery, 7042 Stage Coach Road, Nathalie, VA by Pastor Sam Knaus.
