Rustburg…………Valaurie Michelle Goodman, age 25 of Rustburg died Monday, September 7, 2020 at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born December 20, 1994 in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of John Board Goodman III and wife, Peggy of Concord and Lisa Kidd Bell and husband, Roger of Rustburg.  She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Charles Kidd, Sr; and her paternal grandfather, John Board Goodman, Jr.  Valaurie graduated from Rustburg High School in 2013 and she was a cosmetologist.  She enjoyed softball and racing.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by one son, Walker Dean Hines of the residence; two brothers, Jacob Goodman and fiancée, Brittany of Hurt, and Tanner Goodman of Concord; one sister, Emma Bell of the residence; her maternal grandmother, Tamera Hutcherson and husband, Tom of Hurt; her paternal grandmother, Wanda Goodman of Hurt; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Altavista Church of God of Prophecy by Rev. Whit Mayton.  Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Altavista Church of God of Prophecy.
