Gretna…..William Tyler Perkins, age 20 of Gretna died Tuesday, September 30, 2014 as the result of an automobile accident.
Born November 17, 1993 in Danville he was a son of the late Roger Lee (Hawk) Perkins and Cathy Shelton Yeatts and her husband, Allen of Gretna. Tyler was a chef at The Hunter Smoke Grill. He enjoyed video games, music, writing, and basketball.
In addition to his mother and step-father, he is survived by a brother, Landon Thacker of Altavista; two sisters, Dana T. Harvey of Gretna, and Leigh Perkins Robertson and her husband, Isaac of Fort Belvoir; one step-brother, Ryan Yeatts of Gretna; one step-sister, Tara Dalton of Gretna; three nieces and four nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. R.G. Rowland. A private burial will be held at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Friday, October 3, 2014 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times at the residence of his mother and step-father, Cathy and Allen Yeatts, 672 Sandy Road, Gretna.
