Hurt.........Troy Lee Miller, age 57 of 928 Spring Road, Hurt, died Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Virginia Baptist Hospital.
Born December 6, 1952 in Campbell County he was a son of Ann Roach Blanks of Hurt and the late Junior Miller. He was predeceased by a his step-father, Walter Blanks. Troy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a mechanic. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Linda Short Miller of the residence; two sons, Stacey Miller and Randy Miller both of Hurt; a daughter, Sandy Adkins and fiancé, Chris Chittum of Concord; one brother, Ray Miller of Gretna; two sisters, Tammy Leach and Shirley Anderson both of Hurt; four grandchildren, Blake Adkins, Destiny Adkins, Hayley Chittum and Ashley Marsh.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church by Rev. Bobby Brumfield. Burial will follow in the Blanks Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
