Gretna………Troy William Dalton, age 57 of Gretna passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born November 27, 1967 in Lynchburg, he was a son of Beverly Lindsay Dalton of Gretna and the late Roy Edward "Monkey" Dalton.  He was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Roy and Alice Dalton; and maternal grandparents, Elmo and Elizabeth Elliott.  Troy worked in construction; and loved to hunt and fish.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Darren Dalton of Chatham and Mike Dalton and wife, Glenda of Gretna; one sister, Angela Moore and husband, David of Lynchburg; numerous nieces and nephews; and three special friends, Sam Worley, Lyndon Meeks and Ellis Lambert.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Summersett Baptist Church by Rev. Jason Andrews.  Burial will follow in the Russ Dalton Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2025 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of his brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Glenda Dalton, 380 Marina Drive, Gretna.
