Vernon Hill………Trinity Virginia Duff, age 22 of Vernon Hill died Monday, March 17, 2025 at Duke Hospice in Durham, NC.

Born January 16, 2003 in Fort Bragg, NC she was a daughter of Michael Lee  Duff of Vernon Hill and JoAnna Virginia Dawson of Chatham.  She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Sam and Deborah Duff; and her maternal grandfather, Bryan Dawson.  Trinity was a 2021 graduate of Dan River High School.  She enjoyed playing softball, spending time with her family and going on vacation, especially to the beach.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Nathaniel Lee Duff of Vernon Hill and Braxton Enrique-Kyler Castrellon of Chatham; one sister, AryAnah Antonia-Selah Castrellon (Nia) of Chatham; maternal grandmothers, Katherine Rios of Blairs and Angela Dawson of Gretna; paternal great-grandfather, Sam Duff, Sr. of Blairs; maternal great-grandparents, Roger and Billy Jane Goodman of Gretna; maternal great-grandmothers, Mary Robertson of Long Island and Viola Dunkley of Long Island; and her maternal great-grandfather, Dale Dawson of Long Island.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2025 at Shockoe Baptist Church by Pastor Donald Shields and Rev. Brad Hendrix.  Burial will follow in the Blackstock Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of her mother, JoAnna Dawson.
