Evington……..Joseph Thomas "Tommy" Keesee, Jr., age 77 of Evington died Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at his residence.

Born February 22, 1945 in Campbell County, he was a son of the late Joseph Tommy Keesee, Sr. and Madelyn Keesee McGuire.  He was predeceased by an infant child, John Thomas Keesee; one brother, Donald H. Keesee; and one sister, Gloria Ann Smith.  Mr. Keesee was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a retired vendor for Norfolk Southern.  He enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Moses Keesee of the residence; two sons, Joey Thomas Keesee and wife, Amy of Bedford, and Jason Adam Keesee and wife, Heather of Lynchburg; one brother, George T. "G.T." McGuire and wife Edrica of Penhook; one sister, Carolyn Young and husband, Barney of Danville; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Keesee, Megan Keesee, Bree Noel, and Brandon Noel; five great-grandchildren, Paisley, Emma Grace, Sophie Rae, Rowan, and Amelia; a devoted niece, Scarlett Young; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 3 to 7:00 p.m. at the residence, 5861 Wards Road, Evington, VA 24550.
