Gretna…..Tiny Lewis Pickeral, age 89 of 106 Motley Street, Gretna passed away Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Gretna Health and Rehab Center.
Born August 2, 1922 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late, Arthur C. Lewis and Gracie Rowland Lewis. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Grover Pickeral and a number of brothers and sisters. Tiny was a member of West End Church of Christ, a home maker and was a co-owner and driver of Pick's Cab. She enjoyed cooking and working with flowers.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra O'Keefe and husband, Paul of Norfolk; her son, Glenn Pickeral and friend, Lisa Adams of Gretna; one sister, Clara Thomas of Danville; four grandchildren, Mckenzie Pickeral, Jennifer Reynolds, Vincent O'Keefe and Barron O'Keefe; and a great-grandchild, Bella Clark Reynolds.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at West End Church of Christ by Randy Parker, Minister. Burial will follow in Gretna Burial Park.
The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, December 26, 2011 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Gretna Rescue Squad, P.O.
