Chatham……….Timothy "Tim" Wesley Barbour, age 56 of Chatham died as the result of an automobile accident.
Born April 12, 1960 in Lynchburg he was a son of Calvin William Barbour and Anne Haskins Barbour of Gretna. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Robyn Flynn Barbour. Mr. Barbour was a member at Sycamore Baptist Church and was the owner/operator of Pigg River Feed Company. He enjoyed cattle and was a member of the Black Angus Association. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Tim was a loving father, son and brother.
In addition to his parents he is survived by one son, Wesley Barbour, Jr. of Chatham; one daughter, Chasity Barbour of Roanoke; one sister, Kimberley Berry and husband, Dixon of Hurt; one brother, Duane C. Barbour and wife, Betty of Wendell, NC; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Curtis English, Minister. Burial will follow in New Bethel Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of his parents.
