Hurt…..Thurmond Eugene Wood, age 46 of Hurt died Monday, July 28, 2014 at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born July 24, 1968 in Beckley, West Virginia he was a son of Wayne Clifford Wood and Wilda Ayers Wood of Hurt. Mr. Wood was a farmer.
In addition to his parents he is survived by one son, Cody Wayne Wood; one daughter, Katlyn Nicole Wood; one stepdaughter, Alisha Burley; one brother, James Wood and his wife, Nancy; and two sisters, Leona Rowland and her fiancé, Eddie Mitchen, and Teresa Myers and her husband, Kenny.
Per his requests there will be no public service.
