Gretna……….Thomas Preston Creasy, Jr., age 73 of Gretna died Monday, January 3, 2022 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born February 13, 1948 in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late Thomas Preston Creasy, Sr. and Gracie Marsh Boley.  He was predeceased by one son, Ronald Gene Smith; one granddaughter, Felicia Denise Creasy; and one sister, Judy Creasy.  Mr. Creasy was the owner/operator of People's Gas for Less for 32 years and a US Army veteran.  He loved gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Sue Creasy of the residence; one son, Donald Creasy and wife, Brandi of Gretna; two brothers, Walter Creasy and wife, Betty of Gretna and Daniel Boley of Bedford; two sisters, Joan Rolfe of Amherst and Ella Nichols and husband, Bobby of Bedford; six grandchildren, Tyler Creasy (Jessica), Tanya Creasy, Tabitha Creasy (Dylan), Jocelyn Creasy, Hannah Creasy, and Leighton Bond; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 7, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Jason Andrews.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
