Wake Forest, NC……….Terry Robert Rains, age 75 of Wake Forest, NC, formerly of Bay Shore NY and Gretna, VA died Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Wake Medical in Raleigh, NC.

Born May 29, 1947 in Hicksville, New York, he was a son of the late Dollervin Christine Stever Rains. He was also predeceased by his wife, Joanne MacGregor Rains. Mr. Rains was a millwright and a lifelong mechanic; he was a member of the Millwright Employers Association and worked at Dupont in Martinsville for many years. Terry enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by a son, Terry Rains and wife, Melissa of Wake Forest, NC; a daughter, Kristen Weisberg and husband, Alex of Raleigh, NC; and three grandchildren, Cameron Rains, Parker Rains and Sophie Weisberg.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Green Hill Cemetery by Rev. Lynn Marstin.
