Altavista……Terry Lee Mitchell, age 66 of Altavista died Friday, October 29, 2021 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born January 21, 1955 in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late Robert Jackson "Jack" Mitchell and Sylvia Allen Mitchell.  He was predeceased by a brother, Jackie Mitchell.  Mr. Mitchell was a car enthusiast; and he enjoyed fishing and playing cards.

He is survived by his significant other, Tracey Pritchett of Altavista; one son, Michael Mitchell and wife, Melinda Sacramento, CA; one daughter, Michelle Bermudez and husband, Ivan of San Jose, CA; two brothers, Scott Mitchell and wife, Tammy of Gretna, and Jeffrey Mitchell of Altavista; five grandchildren, three nephews and two nieces; and many close friends.

Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
