Gretna…….Ted Dalton, age 71 of Gretna died Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at his residence.

Born December 20, 1948 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Clifton Mitchell "Click" Dalton and Lucille Collins Dalton. Mr. Dalton was a Marine Veteran and was a contractor. Ted loved fishing, listening to Bluegrass and Rock N' Roll music and hanging out with his buddies and family.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Crocker Dalton of the residence; one daughter, Tracy Kappelman & husband, James of Gretna; one son, Ted Michael Dalton of Danville; one brother, Donnie Dalton and significant other, Sue Barley of Gretna; two sisters, Brenda Lynch and husband, Michael of Raleigh, NC and Susan McMillan and significant other, Gene Nelson of Raleigh, NC; five grandchildren, Gabriel Dalton, Lucas Dalton, Tori Dalton, Kristen Kappelman and Nicole Kappelman; two nephews, Brian Dalton and Daniel McMillan; and a niece, Sarah McMillan

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
