Gretna…….Tammy Rigney McGann, age 58 of Gretna died Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at her residence.

Born August 4, 1960 in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late Carroll Bedford Rigney and Lucy Ann Dillard Rigney.  She was predeceased by two sisters, Vicky Rigney and Patricia Dickey.  Tammy was a member of First Southern Baptist Church and was a home maker.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren; and she enjoyed fishing, working outside with plants and gardening.

She is survived by one son, Justin McGann and wife, Katey of Gretna; one daughter Jessica M. White and fiancé, Paul Kidwell of Pittsville; one brother, Jonathan Rigney and wife, Jessica of Hurt; husband, Stewart Randolph McGann; eight grandchildren, Eliayna, Cathryn, Emberlynn, Corinne, Sophie, Abel, Luke and Abigail; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at First Southern Baptist Church by Pastor Sam Knaus.
