Gretna…….Tammy Bondurant Betterton, age 61 of Gretna passed away Monday, September 29, 2025 at Chippenham Hospital of Richmond.

Born January 23, 1964 in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of Joan Shumate Conner of Lynchburg and the late Larry Conner.  She was predeceased by a son, Robbie Betterton.  Tammy was a caregiver and loved taking care and helping people.  She was a very creative person; and loved music, dancing, going out with friends, growing flowers and hosting friends at her house.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Joanie Keesee and husband, Lenny of Danville and Jennifer Breedlove and husband, Jeremy of Hurt; one brother, George Bondurant and wife, Annalee of Forest; one sister, Donna Dickson and husband, Kelley of Concord, NC; the father of her children, Larry Betterton of Gretna; six grandchildren, Logan, Shane, Leo, Leah, Abigail and Brayden; and her fiancé, Jordan Moreland of Gretna.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2025 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Lynn Marstin.  Burial will follow in Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2025 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
