Sylvester George Moore

Hurt…..Sylvester George Moore, age 79 of Hurt died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at his residence.
Born September 2, 1932 in West Virgnia, he was a son of the late Sanford Moore and Cilicia Hamrick Moore. He was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn May Moore. Mr. Moore was a member of Round Pond Baptist Church and was an employee with Lipton Tea. He enjoyed singing, gardening, and going to church.
He is survived by two sons, Randy Andrew Moore of Minnesota, and Allan Richard Blount of New York; three daughters, Barbara Jean Genova of Wisconsin, Kathryn Lee Torok of New York, and Laurie Ann Midkiff of Virginia; two brothers, Carl Moore, and James Moore; and 20 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Round Pond Baptist Church by Rev. Barry Cundiff. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3:00 P.M. Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Round Pond Baptist Church.
