Hurt……Susan Gibson Wheeler, age 67 of Hurt died Wednesday, February 8, 2023  Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born September 20, 1955 in Roanoke, she was a daughter of Maxine Adkins Gibson of Hurt and the late O.G. Gibson.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband and best friend of 33 years, William "Rabbit" Wheeler of the residence; a son, Matthew Doss and wife, Angie of Gretna; a daughter, Amy Rowland of Gretna; two step-sons, Brad Wheeler and wife, Tina of Roanoke and Kevin Wheeler of Richmond; four grandchildren, Travis, Connor, Adam and Brooke; and her furry best friends, Sam and Jake.

Per her request there will be no public service.
