Gretna……….Stella Gibson Parker, age 85 of Gretna, died Sunday, January 1, 2023 at Gretna Health and Rehab Center.

Born October 25, 1937 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Moses Dillard Gibson and Alese Adkins Gibson.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Roger Gibson and Dillard Gibson; and one sister, Linda Peak.  Mrs. Parker was a member of Greenpond Baptist Church and she retired from the Lane Company.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin Ray Parker of the residence; one brother, Darrell Gibson and wife, Velma of Chatham; one sister, Christine Walden of Gretna; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Gretna Burial Park by Rev. R.G. Rowland.
