Stanton (Buzzy) Crampton

Penhook……….Stanton Leon (Buzzy) Crampton, age 79 of Penhook died Friday, July 22, 2011 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Born November 29, 1931 in Washington D.C., he was a son of the late, John William Crampton, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Morrison Crampton. He was predeceased by his wife, Mazie Jane White Crampton; four brothers, Bill Crampton, Jr., Joe Crampton, Jock Crampton, and Buddy Crampton; three sisters, Margaret Butt, Gladys White and Dolly Sweitzer. He was a fine Christian and was loved by all. Mr. Crampton was a member and Elder of Liberty Christian Church; Buzzy enjoyed watching old westerns on TV.
The last of his immediate family he is survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2011 at Liberty Christian Church by Wayne Grinnell, Minister and the Rev. Dr. Paul Stone. Burial will follow in Liberty Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service 9 to 10 a.m. at Liberty Christian Church.
