Gretna……..Stacy Lynn Cook, age 54 of Gretna died Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at his residence.

Born July 13, 1964 in Danville, he was a son of Danny Wilson Cook of Pittsville and the late Evonne Shields Cook.  Mr. Cook was a member of Piney Fork Baptist Church and was a farmer.  He enjoyed hunting, car racing, and spending time at the store keeping up on everything.

In addition to his father, he is survived by a son, Denton Cook of Gretna; a brother, Warren Cook of Pittsville; an aunt, Patricia Rowland of Gretna; and an uncle, David Cook of Gretna.

Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2018 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Tyler R. Daniels and Rev. Ernest G. Roebuck.  Burial will take place in the Shields Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 6 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2018 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
