Born January 15, 1952 in Campbell County she was the daughter of the late J.T. Eades, Sr. and Lottie Tucker Eades.
She was a former teacher's aide. Shirley was also a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She loved the simple joys and pleasures of life, which included loving people, home cooked meals with her friends and family around the table, visiting the nursing homes, caring for children and the elderly. Her beautiful smile and caring way could encourage young and old alike. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Eades, Jr. (Sallie), Wayne Eades, Russell "Butch" Eades, and Curtis Eades (Donna) and her loving nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many very close and dear friends.
She had a deep love for Jesus and was a faithful member of the Hurt Pentecostal Holiness Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, nursery leader, W.M. President and choir member.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the Hurt Pentecostal Holiness Church at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Mark Hopkins and Rev. Rick Wilkie officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
