Hurt……….Shirlene Maldetta Myers Krantz, age 76 of Hurt died Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born February 28, 1941 in Greenville, TN she was a daughter of the late Elbert George Myers and Margaret Lucille Morgan Myers. Mrs. Krantz was a home maker. She enjoyed singing, especially at different churches; and going antiquing with James. She also enjoyed nature and all animals.
She is survived by her husband, James Ray Krantz of the residence; one son, Glenn Rayburn and wife, Sherry of Altavista; one daughter, Veronica Magness and husband, Mike of Clarion, PA; two brothers, Myron Myers of CA and Maurice Myers of CA; one sister, Patricia Haack and husband, Jerry of TX; and three grandchildren, Michael T. Magness, Travis R. Magness and Ashley N. Rayburn.
Memorial services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Jim Critchley.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
