Gretna…….Sherri Mayhew Betterton, age 56 of Gretna died Friday, January 24, 2025 at Centra Gretna Medical Center.

Born March 28, 1968 in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Larry William Mayhew and Betty Haley Mayhew.  Sherri was a PCA with Team Nurse.  She will be greatly missed and loved by all.

She is survived by one son, Wesley Shelton, Jr. of Gretna; one daughter, Haley Shelton of Gretna; and her boyfriend, Larry Meeks of Gretna.

Per her request there will be no public service.
