Long Island……….Shelia Ann Worsham, age 70 of Long Island passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born November 24, 1953 in Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late James Thomas Dillon and Elizabeth Nadine Anderson Dillon. She was predeceased by one sister, Vicky Meador. Shelia enjoyed dancing, camping, fishing, watching soap operas and court shows, and she loved her dog "Polly."

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Worsham of the residence; two daughters, Michelle Hearn and husband, Scott of Gretna and Crystal Craig and husband, Chris Williams of Madison Heights; two sons, Ricky Dean Rigney and wife, Tosha of Roanoke and Johnnie Worsham of Amherst; one brother, Arnold Dillon and wife, Sandy of Rocky Mount; 13 grandchildren, Katrina, Angel, Ariyanna, Lane, Matthew, Marissa Miranda, Anna, Megan, Mackenzie, Haley, Stephanie and Dakota; and one great-grandchild, Beckhem.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Edge Hill Baptist Church by Rev. Greg Hedrick. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Edge Hill Baptist Church and other times will be at the residence.
