Lynch Station…..Shelby Jean Walden, age 74 of Lynch Station died Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Lynchburg Health and Rehab Center.
Born April 17, 1938 in Campbell County she was a daughter of the late Hunter Talbott and Annie Robertson Talbott. She was predeceased by five sisters, Barbara Pillow, Virginia Elliott, May Seargent, Lorene Thurman, and Ann Snyder; and two brothers, Harry Talbott, and Chesley Talbott. She was a member of Baptist Tabernacle, and was a nurse's aid at Lynchburg Health and Rehab Center. She was a caregiver to her mother for 17 years; and enjoyed knitting, and watching her soap operas.
She is survived by two brothers, Carlton Talbott, and Lewis Talbott; and a sister, Gracie Ashwell.
No services will be held as of her wishes.
