Callands……….Sharon Kay Brumfield Norcutt, age 64 of Callands died Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Autumn Care Nursing and Rehab of Altavista.

Born November 1, 1955, she was a daughter of Louise Saunders Brumfield of Pittsville and the late Carson Woodson Brumfield.  She was predeceased by a brother, Jerry Brumfield.  Mrs. Norcutt was a home maker; and she enjoyed reading, watching Jeopardy, playing Bingo, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Ricky Norcutt of the residence; one daughter, Jennifer Norcutt George of Martinsville; one son, Chris Norcutt and wife, Anita of Indian Trail, NC; one brother, Ken Brumfield and wife, Tina of Chatham; six great-grandchildren, Matthew Norcutt, Caitlyn George, Ian Norcutt, Brianna George, Logan George, and Eli Bond; her mother-in-law, Mary Dawson of Nathalie; and her sister-in-law, Cathy Norcutt Farley of Nathalie.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Summersett Baptist Church by Rev. Jason Andrews and Rev. Bobby Brumfield.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2019 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
