Seif El-Hussamy age 90 of Rustburg passed away peacefully Sunday, October 26, 2025 surrounded by the love of his family.

Born January 19, 1935 in Tanta, Egypt, he was a son of the late Abdel Gawad El-Hussamy and Fatima Hussamy.

A life spanning nine decades, Seif touched the hearts of all who knew him with his warmth, wisdom, and enduring spirit. He lived a full life marked by devotion to his family and deep connections with those around him. An avid swimmer, Seif found joy and vitality in the water, continuing to swim well into his later years until the age of 86—a testament to his vibrant spirit and zest for life.

Seif is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn Hussamy; his loving children, Jaret Hussamy and Gina Hussamy, grandchildren, Lily and Amina; and numerous cherished Hussamy relatives who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

His legacy of love, strength, and family will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he leaves behind an irreplaceable void, the memories of his life will remain a source of comfort and guidance for his family and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 31, 2025 at the Hussamy Family Cemetery located on Hills Drive,  Gretna. If directions are needed, please call or text to 434-610-5529.  There will be a meal to follow at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 110 Melinda Dr. Lynchburg, Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice in Seif's honor.
