Gretna……….Timothy Scott Saunders, age 46 of Gretna died Monday, June 8, 2020 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born November 23, 1973 in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late Hubert Cole Saunders and Iris Nell Simpson Saunders.  He enjoyed cooking, working on cars, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by one son, Brayden Saunders of Hurt; two sisters, Tammy Mitchell and husband, Scott of Gretna, and Sheila Rice and husband, Tony of Gretna; nieces and nephews, Kristin Hull and husband, David of Hurt, Tony Rice of Hurt, Justin Mitchell and wife, Kelsey of Richmond, and Hanna Mitchell of Botetourt; and great-niece and great-nephew, Timothy Hull, and Gabrielle Hull.

Memorial services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Summersett Baptist Church by Rev. Jason Andrews.

The family will receive friends at the residence of his sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and Tony Rice, 12701 Rockford School Road, Gretna.
