Altavista……….Marshall "Scott" Elliott, age 54 of Altavista passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026.

Born March 11, 1972 in Lynchburg, he was a son of  Betty Elliott Jones of Dry Fork.  He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Elmo and Elizabeth Elliott.  He loved fishing, watching racing and WWE.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Briana Elliott  (Jake Irby) of Hurt; two sons, Leighton Elliott of Lynchburg and Dylan Elliott of Lynchburg; three sisters, Tanya Robertson and husband, Jason of Axton, Shannon Whitlock and husband, Keith of Axton and Jennifer Jones of Dry Fork; and two grandchildren, Eloise and Lawson.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery by Raymond Elliott.
