Penhook…..Sandra Lee R. Riddle of Penhook went to be with her Lord Sunday, August 9, 2015 in Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born June 8, 1951 in Danville she was a daughter of Dallas Riddle and Mary Lee Ramsey Riddle of Gretna. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Dewey Lee Riddle and Mary Elizabeth Pearson Riddle and her maternal grandparents, Guy Bennett Ramsey and Thelma Elizabeth Brown Ramsey. Sandra was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gretna and retired as office manager with RACO after 30 years of service. She enjoyed poetry, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Sandra never met a stranger.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband Danny Harvie Riddle of the residence.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Gretna by Rev. Jonathan Hilliard and Rev. Kristen White. Entombment will follow in the Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden, Gretna.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at the residence of her parents, Dallas and Mary Lee Riddle, 1257 Lotus Drive, Gretna.
