Gretna………Sandra Hulme Nearhood, age 70 of Gretna died Thursday, August 20, 2020 at her residence.

Born July 10, 1950 in Warsaw, NY, she was a daughter of the late Harold Hulme and Mabel Taylor Hulme.  She was predeceased by one brother, Donald Hulme; and three sisters, Eileen, Barbara Eaton, and Bonnie Wilkie.  Sandra was a former park ranger with the state of New York.  She was an avid reader; and she enjoyed raising her six boys, and watching "The Price is Right."

She is survived by six sons, Shane Nearhood of Perry, NY, Thaddeus Nearhood of Gretna, Ben Nearhood and wife, Emily of Cato, NY, Jason Nearhood and wife, Sandy of Leicester, NY, Brett Nearhood and wife, Cammie of Gretna, and Adam Nearhood of Gretna; 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephew.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
