Obituary

Hurt……...Sandra Aiken Crider, age 67 of Hurt went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from complications from pneumonia.
She was preceded by her parents, Charlie and Ruth Aiken of Danville; a sister, Joyce Marion Aiken and the love of her life, Clarence "Punk" Crider.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly C. and Johnny Reynolds of Hurt, JoAnn D. Crider of Minden, Nebraska, Amy C. and Chad Rigney of Hurt; a sister, Margaret A. Adams of Danville; 13 grandchildren, Justin Burnette, Reagan Sutphin and husband, Blake, Corey Reynolds, Hayley Hodges and husband, TW, Jessika Ozan, Lexis Walters, Jacob Ozan, Cole, Evy, Gracie, Hannah, Ella, and Katie Rigney; and seven great-grandchildren, Tanner Burnette, Jillian Sutphin, Madison Burnette, Jayden Sutphin, Josie Wallace, Ava Sutphin and Remington Hodges.
She devoted her life to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was excited to welcome another great-grandchild in 2018.
There will be a Celebration of Life service 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at New Beginnings Baptist Church 1874 Lynch Mill Road, Altavista by Rev. Bobby Brumfield.
All other visits can be made at the home, 320 Dove Lane Hurt.
