Danville…….Sammy L. Quarles, age 72 of Danville passed away, Friday, September 26, 2025 at Pheasant Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center of Roanoke.

Born October 19, 1953 in Danville, he was a son of the late Elton Quincy Quarles and Irene Wilson Quarles.  Mr. Quarles was a U.S. Air Force Veteran having served for eight years.  He worked in electronic repair; and enjoyed hunting, walking, being outdoors, and visiting family and friends.

He is survived by one brother, Johnny Quarles and wife, Bonnie of Wirtz; one sister, Linda Q. Thompson of Mt. Airy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
