Gretna……...Russell Lee Worley, age 86 of Gretna died Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Gretna Health and Rehab Center.

Born April 18, 1932 in Danville, he was a son of the late Robert Jack Worley and Jettie Dove Worley.  He was predeceased by a grandson, Bryson Worley; and two brothers, Rev. James Worley and Shirley Mack Worley.  He was a member of Summersett Baptist Church; and was the founder of Carpets by Worley.  Mr. Worley enjoyed gardening, hunting, working on the farm, spending time with his family and traveling with his wife, Christine.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Christine Dalton Worley of the residence; three sons, Steve Allen Worley and wife, Gloria of Hurt, Kevin Wade Worley and wife, Carol of Columbia, SC, and Mark Charles Worley and wife, Tracey of Gretna; one sister, Grace Nichols of Bedford; four grandchildren, Greg Allen Worley and wife, Lisa, Jesse Lee Worley and wife, Christy, Kahla Worley and Cole Worley; and four great-grandchildren, Bryce Worley, Austin Worley, Hannah Worley and Luke Worley.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2018 at Summersett Baptist Church by Rev. Jason Andrews.  Burial will follow in the Dove Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
