Gretna……….Ruby Marie Kirks Roach, age 85 of Gretna, died Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Chatham Health and Rehab Center

Born August 18, 1937 in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Earnest Raymond Kirks and Annie Manning Kirks.  She was predeceased by her husband, Lee Cabell Roach; and a brother, Raymond Kirks.  Mrs. Roach retired from the Lane Company; and she loved her cats and dogs and taking care of them.

She is survived by a son, Bobby Kirks and wife, Lavonne of Danville; a daughter, Talissa Pruitt and husband, Rev. Charles Pruitt, Sr. of Eden, NC; a brother-in-law, Tommy Roach of Gretna; and a niece, Cindy Roach of Gretna.

Memorial services will take place at a later date.
