Ruby Ann Davis Adkins, age 81 of Danville passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Roman Eagle Rehab of Danville.

Born March 22, 1944 in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Willie Howard Davis and Verna Moser Davis.  She was predeceased by her husband, Edmond Ray Adkins; and two brothers, Floyd Davis and Charlie Thomas Davis.  Mrs. Adkins was a member of Gretna Christian Church and she was a seamstress.  She loved babysitting and flowers.

She is survived by two sons, Johnny Adkins and wife, Connie of Gretna and Jeffrey Adkins and wife, Dale of Gretna; one daughter, Connie Adkins Gibson and husband, Steven; three grandchildren, Donald Adkins, Matthew Adkins and wife, Megan and Andrew Gibson; a niece, Cindy Davis Zuniga; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. R.G. Rowland.  Burial will follow in the Wagner Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
