Bedford…….Roy Lee Mason, age 71 of Lynchburg died Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Lynchburg Health & Rehab.
Born May 25, 1940 in Campbell County, he was a son of the late, Eugene Thomas Mason and Hattie Pribble Mason. He was predeceased by two brothers, Eugene Arthur Mason and Charlie Ray Mason; and two sisters, Ruby Austin and Margaret McDaniel. He was a painter; and enjoyed fishing, and working with flowers.
He is survived by one daughter, Angela Mason; one brother, James E. Mason; a sister, Marion Mason Swain; care giver, Frances Patilla; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Altavista Memorial Park by Pastor Tim Lane.
The family will receive friends at the residence of his nephew, Larry Swain, 3589 Grit Road, Hurt.
