Gretna……….Ronald "Ronnie" Harvey Myers, age 74 of Gretna died Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Gretna Health & Rehab.
Born March 9, 1942 in Pittsylvania County he was a son of the late Harvey Myers and Evelyn Gibson Myers. Mr. Myers retired from the Lane Company. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.
He is survived by two brothers, Carroll Wayne Myers and wife, JoAnn of Gretna and Edwin Ray Myers of Gretna; two sisters, Marilyn Simpson and husband, Anderson of Gretna and Gloria Midkiff and husband, Rodger of Gretna; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Summersett Baptist Church by Rev. Jason Andrews.
The family will receive friends at the residence of his sister, Marilyn Simpson, 1332 Azalea Drive, Gretna.
