Danville…….Ronnie Lee Hammock, age 75 of Danville passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Sovah Health Danville.

Born April 3, 1951 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Elvige "Bo" Hammock and Garnette Alice Roach Hammock.  He was predeceased by a brother, Phillip Hammock.  Mr. Hammock was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by three children, Brandy Carr, Anthony Hammock and Melanie Dickerson; one sister, Sarah King; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Chaplain Darrell Pearman.  Military Honors by American Legion Dan River Post 1097.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
